JayCee Electrix is looking for a focused and motivated full-time NZ registered electrician/panel wireman to fill a permanent position based in Whangarei.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be working with a small team of dedicated and highly skilled staff, carrying out installation and contracting works.  Your workday will vary from workshop-based panel building to a variety of commercial and industrial services, and residential and field services.

 

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a “can-do” attitude with fine attention to detail and a willingness to learn; be able to work within a team environment and have quality workmanship.

• A certified electrician with NZ registration is preferred (or eligible to gain registration).

• Relevant electrical qualification - National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 4) or assessed equivalent

• Previous experience in switchboards would be an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.

• Good understanding of concept designs/drawings for the purposes of constructing/building of electrical control panels

• Good working knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, codes of practice

• A Team player who is committed to safety in the workplace

• Full NZ Driver’s License Class 1 required (pref. manual)

• NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa is a requirement
